AN EXCEPTIONAL TERROIR CLASSIFIED GRAND CRU

EXCLUSIVELY GRAND CRU

Nestled in the heart of the traditional champagne region, the Côte d’AMBONNAY-BOUZY enjoys a south-southeast exposure.
Benefiting from advantageous geological and pedological conditions, coupled with a microclimate, which yield exceptional grapes.
AMBONNAY has been listed amongst the GRANDS CRUS CLASSÉS of Champagne since the establishment of the Champagne cru scale in 1895.
Located in the Côte des Noirs area of the Montagne de Reims, the Ambonnay terroir covers 370 hectares.
With an average altitude of 130 meters, most vines are often spared from spring frosts.

This makes it easier to grow Pinot Noir grapes, which produce fruity, full-bodied cuvées much sought-after by prestige Champagne producers.
In select years, south-facing siliceous-clay slopes enable the confidential production of champagne red wine.
Ambonnay Rouge, renowned for its fruity and smooth red fruit aromas, is cherished by connoisseurs.
Of the three Champagne grape varieties, only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are authorised for the production of GRANDS CRUS CLASSÉS 100%.
